This past weekend, the entirety of the United States EMSPOCUS crew managed to meet in the same place at the same time. Obviously, this is a sign that the medical gods are on our side and want POCUS in the field. Well over 10,000 roundtrip miles were traveled on our journies to the Texas A&M College of Medicine in Temple, TX.
We spent hours on end slathered in gel, looking deep inside each other. Sure, it got weird, but we’re willing to sacrifice our dignity for the greater good. You’re welcome. We will be releasing some great lectures given by Jason Bowman shortly, so keep an eye out for those in the coming days.
In the meantime, check out this great talk from TEDxUCIrvine. Dr. Chris Fox (@jchristianfox), EM physician and ultrasound educator from University of California, Irvine School of Medicine, presents a brief, compelling argument for POCUS framed by some incredible case studies.

Good Job!Clever design with the EVF and the Flash. For us that don’t like EVF’s, one could have an “optical tunnel” with information overlays ans an optional eq. It looks a bit like my old Minolta XD0hi8237;w&#ch i lovedThanks!
